Constanze Merkelbach has been a member of Kliemt & Vollstädt's employment-law team since 2007, since 2009 as an attorney. Before this, she was a research assistant under Prof. Dr. Andreas Feuerborn in the department of civil law, employment law and comparative law at Heinrich-Heine-Universität in Düsseldorf. The topic of Ms. Merkelbach's doctoral thesis related to collective bargaining law.

Ms. Merkelbach advises national and international enterprises on all questions of individual and collective employment law. She represents her clients both in court and out of court. Her main practice areas comprise consultancy on litigation relating to protection against dismissal, advising companies on day-to-day employment-law matters, and drafting contracts of employment and specific types of termination agreements.
