For many years, Dr. Sebastian Verstege practised as an attorney in a
medium-sized law firm. Prior to this, in the year 2004, he was a bar
review lecturer in employment law at a leading bar review college in
Münster. He has been a member of Kliemt & Vollstädt's employment law
team since February 2010. Dr. Verstege wrote his doctoral thesis on
dismissal of employees for deficient work performance under Prof. Dr.
Wank.
Dr. Verstege advises employers and executive staff on all questions of
individual and collective employment law. He represents his clients
nationwide both in court proceedings and out of court. His main
practice areas comprise consultancy on actions against unfair
dismissal (including the termination of low performers), advising
enterprises on day-to-day employment law issues, drafting contracts of
employment and specific types of termination agreements, and legal
questions relating to the transfer of establishments.
